Did you know you can lose weight while actually eating more food and not going hungry?

Tik Tok sensation Dez Cerimagic - known as Aussie Fitness - has revealed his secret to losing 60 kilograms - he actually ate MORE food.

The social media star, with more than 3.1 million Tik Tok followers, said to lose weight, you need to eat more food - "and I know this sounds weird."

"Everyone knows you need to be in a calorie deficit to lose weight, but that doesn't mean you have to eat less food...just less calories," he says in his Tik Tok video which has been viewed more than three million times.

"Let me introduce you to something called volume eating which will make your weight loss journey ten times easier.

"It's when you eat large amounts of food for less calories.

"If you focus on low calorie dense high volume foods you can actually eat more food for less calories and lose fat without being hungry all the time."

He lists examples of low calorie and high volume foods you can incorporate in your diet. They include:

1. Low fat greek yoghurt

2. Egg whites

3. Sugar free jelly

4. Vegetables

5. Lean meats

6. Watermelon

7. Spinach

8. Cauliflower rice

9. Cottage cheese

10. Zero calorie sauces

11. Blueberries

12. Strawberries

13. Light popcorn

Health experts say while fad diets and extreme restrictions may provide short-term results, they often fail to deliver sustainable weight loss or long-term health benefits.

And they agree a more effective and nourishing approach to shedding kilos involves incorporating low-calorie, high-density foods into your diet. These nutrient-dense choices not only promote weight loss but also support overall well-being.

Low-calorie, high-density foods - such as fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains - are packed with essential nutrients, fibre, and water, which contribute to a feeling of fullness and satisfaction.

And you are less likely to experience hunger pangs or succumb to unhealthy snacking.

Their high fibre content helps slow down digestion, stabilising blood sugar levels and reducing the urge to overeat. With portion control made easier, sticking to your weight loss goals becomes more achievable.

Consuming low-calorie, high-density foods can boost your metabolic rate, aiding in the fat-burning process.

Nutrient-dense foods require more energy for digestion, known as the thermic effect of food. Incorporating them into your diet can lead to increased calorie expenditure and improved metabolic efficiency.

As a result, your body becomes more adept at burning calories even at rest, further aiding your weight loss efforts.

Crash diets that drastically cut calorie intake often lead to muscle loss and a slowed metabolism, making it challenging to maintain weight loss in the long run.

On the other hand, a diet rich in low-calorie, high-density foods provides sustainable results by supporting muscle retention and ensuring the body receives the necessary nutrients.

This balanced approach helps you shed unwanted pounds while keeping your energy levels high and your metabolism firing.
