If your bathroom shelf is already stacked with Korean skincare, your hair routine may be next in line for a K-beauty makeover.

Korean haircare and body care brand Monclos has officially launched in Australia, arriving at K-beauty specialist retailer W Cosmetics.

The range is available in 42 W Cosmetics stores nationwide, as well as through the retailer's online store, according to an announcement released via PR Newswire this week.

The Seoul-based brand describes itself as a house beauty brand, covering haircare, hand and body care and home fragrance.

What is in the Korean haircare range

The Australian launch includes 10 products, made up of six haircare items and four body care items.

Products named in the announcement include the Velvet Volume Shampoo, the Keratin Bonding Hair Pack Treatment and the Super Silky Essence.

On the body care side, there is the Ritual Hand and Body Wash and the Comfort Hand Cream.

The brand's Miracle Shine Essence is also listed on the W Cosmetics website, where a 100ml bottle is priced at $28.

It is described as a hair essence for all hair types, designed for hydration, nourishment and shine.

Its ingredient list includes rose flower oil, vitamin E and a blend of hydrolysed plant proteins, and it is designed to be smoothed through the mid-lengths and ends of damp, towel-dried hair.

The Keratin Bonding Hair Pack Treatment comes in a 180ml size and is aimed at damaged hair.

According to the retailer, it is applied after shampooing, left on for five to 10 minutes and then rinsed out with lukewarm water.

Pricing for the full range was not included in the announcement, so it is worth checking online or in store.

Why Australia is on the K-beauty map

Australia is clearly a market worth courting for Korean beauty brands.

The announcement cites World Bank data showing Australia's imports of South Korean skincare and beauty products reached about US$149.9 million in 2025, up 40.2 per cent on the year before.

A Monclos spokesperson described the W Cosmetics launch as "a strategic springboard" to build awareness of the brand in the region.

Australia is not the brand's only new market, either.

Monclos has already launched in Japan through lifestyle retailer LOFT, and a rollout at Target in the United States is on the way.

That means Australian shoppers are getting their hands on the range before it reaches American shelves.

According to Trend Hunter, the brand's pitch is pairing distinctive fragrances with specialised formulas.

Getting the most from a new hair routine

Whether or not you try Monclos, a few simple habits can help any new haircare products work harder for you.

Start by thinking about your hair's main need, whether that is more volume, extra moisture or repair after colouring and heat styling.

Introduce one new product at a time so you can see what is genuinely making a difference.

Hair masks and treatments are usually best used on clean, damp hair, and following the leave-in time on the label helps you avoid waste.

Shine essences and serums tend to work best in small amounts, concentrated on the lengths and ends rather than the roots, which can quickly look flat.

With warmer weather on the way, it is also a good time to protect your hair from sun, salt and chlorine, so rinsing after a swim can help.

If you have a sensitive scalp or known allergies, it is sensible to check the full ingredient list before you buy, and to patch test first.

The bottom line

For K-beauty fans, the arrival of Monclos is another sign that Korean beauty is moving well beyond the sheet mask.

With shampoos, treatments and shine essences now on shelves in 42 stores, it has never been easier to give your hair a little Seoul-inspired love.

You can browse the range at W Cosmetics or find out more on the Monclos website.
