Shoppers looking for something a little different from the usual retail offering can tap into thousands of deals during the AliExpress 828 Sale, with the online marketplace showcasing a curated line-up of global brands across technology, smart home, fitness, automotive and more.

Running until August 26, the AliExpress 828 Sale is the company’s biggest shopping event of the second half of 2026, with its Brand+ collection spotlighting established brands and products selected based on consumer reviews, product performance and brand reputation.

What is AliExpress Brand+?

The Brand+ range is aimed at shoppers who want access to products and brands that may not be readily available through traditional Australian retailers.

According to AliExpress, participating Brand+ brands average more than 4.8 stars across customer reviews, while shoppers are also covered by buyer protection and can access tracked delivery on selected products.

Kit Yau, Marketing and Partnerships Director, AliExpress Australia and New Zealand, says shoppers are increasingly prepared to research products, compare options and look beyond their local stores when searching for something that offers better value or solves a particular problem.

“Consumers today are looking for products that solve real problems and offer something different from what they can easily find locally,” Yau says.

“Brand+ brings together innovative brands from around the world, giving Australians access to products they may not have discovered through traditional retail, backed by consumer ratings, reviews and buyer protection.”

Coffee, fitness and tech

The sale covers a broad range of categories, but some of the more interesting offerings are aimed squarely at the home.

For coffee lovers, the HiBREW 20Bar Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine features a 58mm portafilter and adjustable temperature controls, designed to bring a more café-style coffee experience into the kitchen.

The Shokz OpenFit 2+ wireless open-ear headset also features Dolby Audio, while readers can take their books on the move with a lightweight E-Book E-Reader featuring an ink screen and magnetic design.

For those determined to make better use of the spare room, the MERACH Rowing Machine R02 offers magnetic resistance with 16 adjustable levels.

And for anyone who thinks gaming was better before everything became ridiculously complicated, the ANBERNIC RG CubeXX is a portable retro gaming handheld with a 3.95-inch display and Linux operating system.

A growing appetite for global brands

The launch comes as AliExpress says its Brand+ offering is gaining traction among younger shoppers.

Brand+ was recently ranked the fastest-growing brand among Gen Z consumers in the Ad Age and The Harris Poll Gen Z Brand Tracking report for July 2026, ahead of brands including Lululemon, Grok, Shake Shack and Claude.

For Australian consumers, the appeal is fairly straightforward. The marketplace brings together products from international brands that can otherwise be difficult to find locally, while reviews and ratings give shoppers more information before they buy.

Selected products are also available through Australian warehouses, with AliExpress promoting shipping windows of seven to 15 days and 90-day buyer protection.

The 828 Sale

The AliExpress 828 Sale runs from August 14 to 26, with the main sale period running from August 17 to 26.

For shoppers willing to look beyond the familiar names on the Australian high street, it is another reminder that the global marketplace is now only a few clicks away.

The question, as always with a giant online sale, is whether you went looking for a coffee machine and somehow ended up buying a retro gaming console.
