VOICES OF TALENTED FEMALE ARTISTS REVEALED IN NEW ART EXHIBITION
An evocative art exhibition, to be held in Sydney, will explore ideas surrounding rebirth, repair, reinvention and recreation of a woman in her lifetime.
Presented by Re/ Artists Collective, the exhibition, to be held on April 6, will support the Women's and Girls’ Emergency Centre in Redfern.
The theme – Re/ Woman – will see artists showcase their emotive interpretations of what it means to be a woman.
Original artworks by talented female artists Lisa Nguyen, Yasmin Jones, Megan Kruger, The Flora Collective, and Alexandria Brock. will also be available for sale.
Musical trio Sophie van den Bogaerde, Nici Hosking and Pat McKinnon, and solo artist Shamiren Carroll, will perform.
A spokesperson for the event said: "Get ready to immerse yourself in a diverse collection of artworks that celebrate the power and creativity of women.
"From paintings and sculptures to photography and musical performances, this exhibition showcases the unique perspectives and voices of female artists."
