BETTER LATE THAN NEVER: TICKING OFF MY 2025 RESOLUTIONS

Every year, I start January with the best intentions, and by spring, most of those resolutions are buried under the business of life.
So when SHEIN’s Tick It Off Fest campaign landed in my inbox, I loved its simple message: it’s never too late to finish what you started.
Without further procrastination, I set out to tick off a few of my own lingering goals: refresh my wardrobe, bring some new energy into my space, and make time for family moments that matter.
A style refresh
My first tick was a personal one, finally adding a new evening bag to my collection. The SHEIN VCAY Floral Pattern Clutch Bag caught my eye with its soft floral print and easy elegance.
Compact but roomy enough for the essentials, it instantly updated my go-to evening outfits. The VCAY collection itself feels like a nod to all those style resolutions we make in January: dress up more, be bolder, and find confidence in what you wear.
Home glow-up
Next came my space. I’ve been wanting to bring more calm and coordination into the little corners of my home, so I turned to Joivida and Cirelle, both featured in the campaign’s Home & Living edit.
I added two of the Jovida Vintage Ceramic Striped Trays, one in the 7.5-inch size and a smaller 3.5-inch version, both in the green and white stripe.
The larger tray now anchors my coffee table with a candle and small vase, while the smaller sits prettily on my dresser, a perfect catch-all for jewellery and hair accessories. A powder blue ripple glass spoon adds just enough personality to my coffee nook, while the pink flower-shaped jewellery tray instantly brightened my bedside table.
To finish, the Cirelle red Bohemian tablecloth brought a rich, textural warmth to the dining table, an easy touch that already makes the space feel ready for the season ahead.
Each piece felt like a tiny win, a reminder that small, affordable updates can completely shift a room’s mood without needing a full makeover.

Gifting & travel
With the holidays approaching, I wanted to add a few pieces that make gifting and packing feel a little more organised and joyful.
The Joivida Christmas Santa Claus Tissue Wrapping Paper instantly stood out. A cheerful pink design scattered with tiny Santas and bows that adds a fun, modern twist to traditional wrapping. It’s a small touch, but it gives presents that polished, festive feel without much effort.
I also picked up the Joivida Cute Makeup Bag - soft, roomy, and ideal for travel. It holds all the essentials while still fitting neatly in a weekender bag. The blush-pink finish and gentle structure make it just as pretty on a vanity as it is practical in transit.
Both pieces feel like easy wins: affordable, thoughtfully designed, and proof that the right details can make even everyday moments, like packing for a trip or wrapping a gift, feel special.
Beauty little luxuries
To complete the glow-up, I chose a few beauty pieces from SHEGLAM, another campaign highlight. The Hello Kitty Hydrating Lipstick in Smitten Kitten and Creamsicle Eyeshadow Stick in Flirty have both become easy, everyday staples.
They’re playful yet polished, small luxuries that add a little ritual to the day, exactly the kind of finish-strong mindset Tick It Off Fest celebrates.
Family first
The last thing on my list was to prioritise more family time, and I turned to the baby-&-kids offerings in the campaign:
I picked up the Cozy Pixies Newborn Baby Boy Jumpsuit and Cozy Pixies Baby Boy Color-block Romper for those everyday play moments, and I also bought the ASENAPPY Waterproof Beach Diaper / Wet-Dry Pouch to make outings and pool days easier.
The soft fabrics and cheerful colours of the rompers plus the practicality of the wet-dry pouch capture the fun and functionality I was aiming for, becoming reminders that those everyday family moments are worth celebrating.
Verdict
From the elegant floral clutch to the playful Cozy Pixies rompers, every item felt like progress, tangible little steps toward the resolutions I’d almost forgotten.
SHEIN’s Tick It Off Fest captures exactly what this time of year should be about: celebrating small wins, refreshing what surrounds us, and finishing the year on a positive note.
Sometimes, it’s not about starting over; it’s about finally finishing what we began.
