BELOVED ITALIAN FIESTA RETURNS TO PRESTON MARKET THIS SUNDAY

Melbourne’s favourite northside market, Preston Market, will hold its much-loved Italian Day this Sunday. The event will feature traditional live entertainment, Italian delicacies from pop-up food stalls, and a free workshop for the kids.

The stage will be packed with an incredible line-up of Italian music and entertainment. Throughout the day, performances will be given by the female string quartet Romanza, singers Carmelo Di Giglio, Tania Barbaro, Toni Marchi, Lorenzo + Co, and guitarist Raffaele Basso.

All performances will surely get the crowd on their feet, singing and dancing along to a repertoire of classic Italian hits.

Don’t miss Australia’s only vintage Vespa DJ, Moto Bella as they spin funky tunes from the fully restored 1968 blue Vespa.

Event-goers can also expect an array of authentic Italian dishes from pop-up food trucks, including Sorelle Catering's indulgent zeppole doughnuts and Abruzzo Lab's mouth-watering grilled arrosticini (meat skewers).

And if that's not enough, there will be pop-up stalls from gin connoisseurs Gindu and some of our fabulous Italian Preston Market traders who will be joining in on the fun.

A pasta necklace workshop for kids will be held from 11 am to pm, so there's something for everyone.
