Robot vacuums have become a staple in many Australian homes, but one complaint refuses to go away. They still struggle with corners, edges and the awkward spaces beneath furniture.
Now, smart home brand MOVA claims to have solved those cleaning blind spots with the Australian launch of its flagship V70 Ultra Complete robot vacuum.
Reaching where other robot vacuums can't
Designed to tackle the areas conventional robot vacuums often miss, the V70 Ultra Complete features extending mop and side-brush arms that reach deeper into corners, around furniture legs, and beneath low-clearance furniture.
The company says the design delivers up to three times more edge and corner coverage than standard robot vacuum models, helping homeowners spend less time touching up after the robot has finished.
Smarter cleaning with AI
The V70 Ultra Complete uses artificial intelligence to recognise more than 300 household obstacles, allowing it to navigate around everyday items while adjusting its cleaning path.
It can also climb thresholds and door tracks up to 9cm high, making it easier to move between rooms without getting stuck.
Pet owners are also catered for, with a dedicated pet mode that identifies pets and avoids pet waste during cleaning.
Less maintenance, more hands-free cleaning
The robot's self-cleaning dock automatically empties the dustbin, washes and dries the mop pads, and refills the water, reducing the amount of day-to-day maintenance required.
Its bagless dust station is designed to provide up to 100 days of hands-free operation before it needs emptying.

MOVA ANZ country manager Nancy Zhang said the new model was designed to solve the everyday frustrations many robot vacuum owners still experience.
"As robot vacuums have become more capable, many households still experience the same frustrations, including missed corners, furniture gaps and ongoing maintenance," she said.
"The V70 Ultra Complete was designed to address those real-world cleaning challenges through smarter navigation, extended reach and lower-maintenance ownership."
The V70 Ultra Complete recently received a 2026 Red Dot Award for Product Design and is backed by a three-year warranty.
