Service robotics brand ECOVACS Robotics has announced the launch of two new robotic vacuum-and-mop systems for the Australian and New Zealand markets, expanding its range of automated home-cleaning technology.

The new products build on the company’s roller-mopping innovation, developed in response to consumer feedback indicating that mopping performance remains a key concern in the robotic vacuum category.

Cost and convenience are driving demand

The company said the launch reflects growing demand from households seeking ways to simplify daily routines and reclaim personal time through automation.

“Today’s launch comes as Australians continue to seek smarter ways to simplify daily life and reclaim personal time.

Under our new brand platform of ‘Created for Ease,’ our ongoing innovation in home service robotics is all about making advanced cleaning technology feel simple and effortless in everyday life,” said Karen Powell, Regional Director for Australia and New Zealand at ECOVACS.

The new systems are designed to make advanced roller mopping technology more accessible while maintaining high cleaning performance through features such as improved suction, edge-cleaning capability, anti-tangle brushes, and automated maintenance.

“With the DEEBOT T90 PRO OMNI and DEEBOT T80S OMNI, we’re committing to roller mopping being the future of floor care, reinforcing ECOVACS’ position as the innovator in this space, delivering hands-free cleaning that fits naturally into Australian homes.

With a wide range of flagship features also included, we know that this trickle-down effect of premium technology will see Australian and New Zealand consumers enjoying the enormous lifestyle benefits of robotic cleaning,” Ms Powell said.

The company said the launch highlights its strategy to broaden access to advanced robotic cleaning solutions as smart home adoption continues to grow.
