Saturday nights are about to get a whole lot more useful, with Melissa Leong hosting the return of Healthy, Wealthy and Wise.

The lifestyle series premieres on Channel 10 this Saturday, 7 November, at 6.30pm, and will be free to stream on 10's streaming service.

For anyone who loves practical tips on food, money, health and home, it's one to pop in the diary.

Melissa Leong takes the reins

Melissa Leong is best known to many Australians as a former judge on MasterChef Australia.

Now she's stepping into the host's chair for what she calls a new era of the much-loved format.

"It's a thrill to be the host of the new era of Healthy, Wealthy and Wise," she said, according to Paramount ANZ.

Publicity images show her at a fresh produce market, which feels like a natural fit for a food lover.

Meet the expert team

Melissa will be joined by a team of specialists covering every part of everyday life.

Actor, comedian and foodie Gyton Grantley will hunt down fresh ingredients and turn them into practical meals.

Rachel Cole is the show's money expert, with tips to help your budget stretch further.

Aimee Stanton covers DIY and renovation, with a focus on budget-friendly ideas.

Dr Mike Mrozinski will bust health myths and share ways to live longer and better.

Chyka Keebaugh brings her eye for style, and Adam Morris is the motoring expert.

Segments will cover food, money, renovation, health, fashion and motoring, according to TV Central.

A familiar name with a long history

If the title rings a bell, that's because Healthy, Wealthy and Wise first ran on Network Ten from 1992 to 1998.

It enjoyed a brief revival on Seven in 2025, hosted by Chrissie Swan, TV Blackbox reported.

Now it's back home on 10, with a refreshed line-up and a new host.

What to expect from the new series

Each episode will move between the kitchen, the household budget, the home, health and style, so there should be something for everyone.

Gyton's food segments will focus on fresh ingredients and practical meals, which is just what busy families need on a weeknight.

Rachel's money tips are designed to help everyday Australians make their budgets work harder.

Aimee's DIY ideas are aimed at people who want a fresh look at home without spending a fortune.

Dr Mike's myth-busting segments should help viewers sort fact from fiction in a world full of confusing health advice.

Why lifestyle TV is still so popular

With grocery bills, power prices and home costs on everyone's mind, practical TV that helps us save money has real appeal.

Shows like this offer easy ideas you can try that same weekend, from a cheap dinner to a quick home refresh.

They also give us a chance to sit down together as a family and watch something positive.

How to get the most out of each episode

Keep a notebook or your phone handy to jot down recipes, money tips and product ideas.

If a renovation or DIY project catches your eye, check the costs and safety steps before you start.

Remember that health and money segments are general information, so speak to your GP or a qualified adviser about your own situation.

And if you miss an episode, you can catch up for free on 10's streaming service.

When to watch

Healthy, Wealthy and Wise premieres on Saturday 7 November at 6.30pm on Channel 10.

Episodes will be free to stream, so you can watch live or catch up later in the week.

With Melissa Leong at the helm and a team of friendly experts, it looks set to become a feel-good Saturday night habit for many Aussie households.
