The glazed skin trend is not slowing down anytime soon, and now Australian skincare brand Skin Control is turning one of beauty’s biggest skincare trends into a single spray.
The brand’s new Milky Toner Glazing Mist aims to simplify the increasingly popular “glass skin” and “skin milk” routines by delivering hydration and glow with a fine mist rather than multiple layers.
The launch marks a new direction for the viral skincare brand, which has built a strong following through its acne-focused products, pimple patches and glow-driven skincare range.
Milky toner trend continues dominating skincare
Milky toners have quickly become one of beauty’s most talked-about skincare categories this year, fuelled largely by TikTok and the ongoing obsession with luminous, hydrated skin.
Traditionally, the products are applied by hand or with cotton pads as part of lengthy skincare routines. Skin Control’s new mist format is designed to make the process faster and easier, particularly for consumers wanting skincare that fits into busy everyday routines.
The product can be used both under and over makeup, functioning as a prep mist, hydration layer and finishing spray designed to leave skin looking glossy and radiant.
Skin Control combines glow with skincare ingredients
The lightweight formula contains ceramides, peptides, squalane, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin B5, all aimed at supporting skin hydration and barrier health.
According to Michael Porter, the goal was to combine trend-led beauty with practical functionality.
“We know our customers are always looking for the ultimate glow, but they want it in a format that’s easy and fits into their everyday routine,” he said.
“With the Milky Toner Glazing Mist, we’ve combined the nourishment of a milky toner with the convenience of a fine mist.”
The cruelty-free and vegan-friendly mist is suitable for all skin types and retails for $20.
At this point, the beauty industry may officially be one product launch away from bottling the concept of “just got back from a luxury wellness retreat” into a spray can.
