We all know the health benefits of eating avocados; they are a great source for healthy fats and fibre. But did you know you can use avocados for a rich and creamy dessert which contains no dairy or refined sugar? Give it a try - you won't be disappointed.
Prep time: 10-15 minutes
2 ripe avocados1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup almond milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit.
Scoop out the flesh and place it in a blender or food processor.
Add the cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and salt to the blender.
Blend until smooth and creamy.
If the pudding is too thick, add a splash of almond milk to thin it out.
Divide the pudding into 4 individual serving dishes.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the pudding to set.
Serve and enjoy!
