BELKIN SOUNDFORM CLEARFIT WIRELESS EARBUDS REVIEW: BIG SOUND, NO DRAMA

I still remember the exact moment I lost one of my AirPods. I was mid-run, flying down the track, high on endorphins and listening to Eminem (naturally), when one of those slippery little white pods popped out of my ear, hit the pavement and bounced into a puddle by the running track. Game over.
Since then, I’ve been highly sceptical of any earbuds that don’t come with some sort of “stay put” guarantee.
Enter the Belkin SoundForm ClearFit Open-Ear Wireless Earbuds — my new workout essential and the answer to every runner, fast walker or cardio addict who’s ever had to dig through bushes or gutters looking for a rogue earbud.
First things first: the fit is brilliant. These earbuds don’t just perch in your ears and pray for the best — they wrap around the top, securing snugly but comfortably, so there’s no shifting or slipping, no matter how intense the workout.
I’ve sprinted, climbed hills, and even done HIIT drills in them, and they’ve stayed firmly in place like they were designed just for my ears.
They’re also open-ear, which took me a moment to get used to — but now I’m a full convert.
Being able to hear my surroundings while still enjoying high-quality audio is a game-changer, especially for safety.

You can hear passing traffic, cyclists ringing bells behind you, and even your own footfall on the pavement. No more isolated bubble you get with noise-cancelling buds. And for someone who runs in the city or on shared tracks, it just makes sense.
Sound-wise, they’re surprisingly crisp. I wasn’t expecting this level of clarity from an open-ear design, but my music sounds full and clear without being overpowering. And because nothing’s jammed into my ears, there’s no pressure or fatigue after long sessions — a huge plus.
They’re also IPX5-rated, which means they can withstand sweat and rain without issue. I’ve worn them on humid mornings and through light drizzle with zero issues.
The battery life is also solid — up to 8 hours on a single charge, and an additional 18 hours with the charging case. I haven’t once been caught out with a flat battery, even when I forget to charge them between sessions.
A few extra wins: the lightweight build makes them barely noticeable, the controls are intuitive, and they pair instantly with my phone.
There’s also a handy transparency mode if you want to dial up ambient sound, and dual beamforming mics that work surprisingly well for calls, even mid-walk or workout.
If you’re a runner, a fast walker, or just someone who’s tired of earbuds that never stay put, the Belkin SoundForm ClearFit could be your new go-to. They’ve certainly earned their place in my running bag.
