If you have ever made a Choc Ripple Cake the night before a family Christmas, this one is for you.

A brand-new Arnott's Christmas cookbook lands in supermarkets from today, Sunday 1 November, and the best part is that you can get it for free.

Arnott's has teamed up with The Australian Women's Weekly for Arnott's: The Cookbook – Festive Edition, a follow-up to last year's runaway hit.

Why this Christmas cookbook is such a big deal

The first Arnott's cookbook, released in 2025, was described as Australia's best-selling cookbook over the past 12 months.

According to Retail World, pack sales of the biscuits featured in that first book rose by around five per cent compared with the same period in 2024.

Some ranges even enjoyed their biggest two-month sales period ever, which tells you just how many of us were baking.

So it is no surprise the two brands have come back with a festive edition.

What's inside

The book is packed with 24 Christmas-themed recipes that use Arnott's biscuits as the hero ingredient.

Recipes mentioned in the launch coverage include the classic Choc Ripple Cake, Kingston Truffles, a Mini Scotch Finger Caramel Slice and an Iced VoVo Pavlova.

On the Arnott's festive page you will also find ideas such as Tim Tam Cheesecake Pops, Milk Arrowroot and Ginger Reindeers, Tim Tam Balls and a Scotch Finger Lemon Tart.

There is even a Festive Dip Board, which sounds like the answer to every last-minute "can you bring a plate?" request.

Arnott's Executive Chef, known as Chef Ness, says the recipes are designed around simple pantry staples.

That is welcome news when the shops are packed and the to-do list is long.

How to get your free copy

The cookbook is free when you buy any three Arnott's products.

Simply pick up a copy in store and scan it at the checkout along with your three Arnott's items.

It is available at Coles, Woolworths and participating independent retailers.

If you would rather buy it on its own, the recommended retail price is $14.99.

The offer runs for a limited time while stocks last, with one claim per transaction, and the Arnott's website says it ends at 11:59pm AEDT on 31 January 2027.

Given how quickly last year's book disappeared, it may be wise to grab yours sooner rather than later.

Why we love it

Kate Bean, Marketing and Category Director for ANZ Snacking at Arnott's, said the book aims to give shoppers fresh inspiration for Christmas entertaining and homemade gifts.

And homemade gifts are a lovely idea this year, when so many families are watching the budget.

A tin of Kingston Truffles or a box of reindeer biscuits makes a thoughtful present for teachers, neighbours and the friends who always host.

The recipes are also a fun way to get children into the kitchen in the lead-up to Christmas.

Little hands are perfect for rolling truffles, decorating biscuits and, of course, licking the spoon.

Our tips for festive baking success

Make a list of the recipes you want to try, then check which biscuits you need before you shop, so your three-product purchase does double duty.

Many no-bake treats, such as truffles and slices, can be made a few days ahead and kept in the fridge, which frees up precious time on the big day.

Wrap edible gifts in cellophane or a jar with ribbon, and add a handwritten label for a personal touch.

With summer heat on the way, keep chocolate-based treats chilled until serving.

Whether you are a confident baker or someone who only turns on the oven at Christmas, this is one cookbook that is likely to earn a spot on the kitchen bench.
