NALA TAKES ON THE SPORTS BRA, AND DOES IT PROPERLY

Australia’s lingerie darling Nala is stepping into new territory, and doing it with intent.
Club Nala marks the brand’s first foray into high-performance activewear, led by a sports bra range designed specifically for fuller busts.
It is a significant move for a label that has built its reputation on fit, inclusivity, and no-nonsense comfort, and it reflects how far the brand has come.
From everyday underwear to serious support
After years of redefining everyday lingerie, Nala turned its attention to what many of its customers felt was missing: a sports bra that actually works for real bodies.
Club Nala is designed for movement, but without abandoning the fit credentials that have underpinned the brand’s success.
The focus is on support, comfort and confidence in motion, whether that means running, jumping or simply getting through a high-energy day without feeling restricted or held back.
Rather than chasing trends, the brand approached the category with the same problem-solving mindset that has made it a cult favourite in intimates.
Built with bodies, not just sketches
The collection is Nala’s most technical to date, developed over 18 months by a design team with more than 100 years of combined experience.
Crucially, it was tested in real life, not just the studio.
Women were involved throughout the process, wearing, moving, sweating, and providing feedback on what actually worked and what didn’t. The result is a range designed around how full-bust bodies behave in motion, not how they are expected to.
Co-founder Chloe De Winter said: "We've been working on our Sports Bra range for close to two years.
"Our customers have literally been begging us to create sports bras. It's our first foray into a new category, so it was so important to us that whatever we created was epic.
"So much blood, sweat (literally) and tears have gone into bringing this to life. Not to mention over 300 test-wearing sessions. We are so pumped to launch Club Nala and be the one-stop shop for boobie support nationwide."
MotionTech and the science of comfort
At the heart of the collection is MotionTech, a new signature fabric developed for performance. Made from 84 per cent recycled nylon and 16 per cent elastane, it is lightweight yet strong, moulding to the body like a second skin.
The fabric is moisture-wicking, quick-drying, and antimicrobial, designed to keep wearers cool and comfortable during high-intensity sessions.
It is also free from harmful chemicals and toxins, aligning with Nala’s broader approach to considered materials and responsible production.
Three sports bras, different levels of impact
The launch includes three new sports bras, each designed for different movement needs.
The High Impact Underwire Sports Bra is the most supportive style, created for intense training and high-impact sport. It features a smooth, moulded underwire, full cup coverage, and thick padded straps, with anti-bounce technology built in.
For those who want strong support without underwire, the High Impact Wirefree Sports Bra delivers medium to high-impact performance with a softer feel.
Reinforced back support, a breathable padded cup and a wide elastic underband make it a wire-free option for serious movement.
Completing the lineup is the Sporty Wirefree Bralette, an active update of Nala’s cult Support Wirefree Bralette.
It offers extra hold and reduced bounce for everyday movement, without straying too far from the original shape customers already trust.
Designed to be worn as a system
The range is rounded out with the No Show Sports Gee, a seamless, sweat-wicking g-string designed to sit invisibly under activewear.
Made with MotionTech fabric and a breathable cotton gusset, it is designed to be worn alongside the Club Nala bras during training.
True to form, Club Nala supports C to H cups across band sizes 8 to 22, one of the broadest size offerings currently available in activewear.
The collection launches in three colourways: Space & OJ, Pickle & Lavender Fizz, and Licorice & Snowcone.
